What notetakers / information managers support Spotlight ? I used to keep all of my notes in Onenote. Still do for work. But I switched my personal laptop to Mac a couple years ago, and the lack of Spotlight support made it unusable for me - I hate running search twice, especially on my phone. I have been using Apple Notes, but it sucks for long term notes. No version history, no export. I did try Exporter from the Mac store but it fails to export PDF attachments.
