Felt like a normie today

Normally I'm rather a shut in person, but today I had to talk to complete strangers. My ISP decided to axe wireless network due to the lack of customers and move all clients to an optical fibre. Their men removed the old receiver, installed cable, set up the router. They asked questions about previos contract and other technical details, I answered, then they done the work and left. Nothing extraordinary happened. It was a normal interaction, but it made me think that neets also had to interact with the...

How Do You Get Your Personal Finance Advice? (Investments, Taxes, Retirement, etc.)

Hey everyone, I’m curious to know how you currently get financial advice for things like: -> Deciding between MFs, SGBs, or other investments -> Tax-saving strategies (e.g., 80C, 80D, capital gains) -> Retirement planning and long-term wealth building -> Emergency fund management -> Loan & debt management Do you rely on CAs in city, financial advisors, YouTube, social media, finance blogs, or AI tools like chatbots? Or do you prefer DIY research using official government portals?

Great Idea but Somewhat Lacking Execution (I will not promote)

I recently got hired as an intern (software-related position) at a local startup and honestly I really like the premise of their E-commerce website. However, I kind of feel bad because I feel like the person in charge of advertising and social media content creation is their executive assistant. I don’t know if that is actually included in their job description but it’s really obvious that the guy does not know what he’s doing. On top of that, I don’t think he has a hint of graphic design knowledge....

My January Month Swing Trading PnL

https://preview.redd.it/g4pe2qhyrihe1.png?width=1021&format=png&auto=webp&s=520a36f4c12a6b71ba531b87d443501265298b0f Got a bit late because I had exams this week. Decent month, that is a 2.3% return on my total capital. Trying to break the 20k threshold since Nov and could've done it if I held onto my DLF puts. But luck wasn't on my side. Feb has started with a rough start as I booked a big loss on my investments in NCC. So Feb is definitely not going to be good. All eyes on March for now!!

Help - Pre-market order

Hello, I have just learnt about how pre-market works but still I have a doubt, I hope someone would help clearing that. Suppose a share's LTP is 97 and I place a limit order on 100. And at 9:08 am the LTP updates to 102. In this case would my order get executed or not ? If yes, then at 100 or whatever the market price at 9:15 Thank you!!

Why honk at your own gate?

I don't understand why people honk on their own gate so that someone from their house comes and opens the gate for them it makes sense if you own a car, you have to come out open the gate but why the hell when you are coming home on a scooty or bike you just have to lower the stand!!!!
