Airport cab scam Just had a horrendous experience with a cab at Surat Airport. The Scam: I was quoted a reasonable price for a ride to Rander, but upon reaching my destination, the driver demanded a whopping 700 Rupees! Parking Extortion: To add insult to injury, he then slapped on an extra 150 Rupees for "airport parking." I'm not sure what the actual parking fees are, but 150 seems excessive.
