Sequoia bug. Dragging photos into Messages is pasting into the wrong conversation.

I've been doing this for YEARS without problem. I keep messages open on the side, just enough where I can see the contact bubble for each conversation. I typically will drag photos or screenshots from Safari into Messages (while Messages is still technically in the background), then the image will paste into the correct conversation with 100% accuracy. For some reason with Sequoia, it fails 100% of the time. Now I need to actually have Messages in the foreground and to be on the correct conversation to paste it...

    Terrible neighbour

I live in a rented house in decently large and posh society in Bengaluru. I have a nicely placed house in this society with good view access and sunlight etc. From past couple pf months, my neighbours dog has been annoying the shit out of me and my sleep cycle. Dog is a St Bernard or some big breed. Morning 6.30, 7 and 7.45 this dog barks for good 5 mins. I have requested the owner to keep his glass door closed atleast during morning but that man is...

    My experience as a Tourist

I’m from Mangalore . I came to Goa a few days ago as a tourist with my family . Mostly to visit Old Goa Exposition and to chill in a not so crowded part of Goa for a few days and take it easy. And trust me when I say this , the cause for so much negativity of Goan tourist scene of late is mainly due to tourists themselves. I’ve seen so much of these tourists being generally rude to the locals expecting them to give these fellows...

All the old Bangaloreons out there, what are some of the old live music bars/pubs that existed back in the day? For research purposes, what was the city's cut off time for live music back in the 2000s-2010s?

How can I reach and talk to CISOs (Chief Information Technology Officer)

Hi! I'm building a cybersecurity startup with a lot of domain expertise. I would like to validate my idea with potential customers, CISOs. However, I'm struggling to reach them considering they're such a high-profile persona. Anyone has any tips on how can I reach CISOs, or alternatively, conduct market research about the problem I'm aiming at solving? (Tried the obvious ways - Linkedin doesn't work as they get dozens of requests a week) Thanks.

Why do some bikers ride side by side, blocking traffic?

I've noticed this behavior in Pune: two bikers riding side by side, chatting as they go, but driving very slowly even when the road ahead is clear. When you try to overtake them, they seem to take offense, overtake you in return, and then repeat the same slow-paced riding. Why is this such a common habit among bikers in Pune?

2 years and 30 K with the VW

Appreciation post for the ‘Laila’ as I would like to call her. The variant is 1.0 MT, topline. Pushed hard on the Del- Mum expressway and taken to the broken roads of Himachal Pradesh, never for once felt made the wrong decision buying it. Long term unbiased review- Pros- The chasis, the suspension, the stability at higher speed🤌 Braking is actually pretty responsive and sure footed. Engine, even though small on displacement but definitely punches above its weight. Is efficient too if not pushed too hard. Seats are comfortable,...
