Peculiar issue with USB C DisplayPort monitor and MBP I have just entered the MacOS world thanks to my workplace gifting me an M3 Max MBP 14" So I have a cheap portable monitor that takes USB C DisplayPort I tried it with my machine, and it worked perfect. Powers the monitor and extends the screen to it as expected, using 1 ThunderBolt cable. “disk not ejected properly” when copying large files MacOS My external storage gets disconnected when I try to copy large files. I’ve tried different formats Apfs , exfat etc still the problem is there. I’ve tried the same storage in windows & it works without any issues. Also changed my cable to a USB 4 cable, same issue. I have no idea what the problem is, I’m out of warranty but instead of fixing this garbage mac I would rather buy a Custom build PC where I don’t need SSDs hanging from my MAC.
