Using the p slur created by Westerners for South Asians for Northeast Indian people is stupid and we shouldn't give in to prove we're "Indian". We're Indian because we're part of the union and it's our citizenship First things first, it's not okay to use that slur on anyone(except trolls maybe) no matter what. I'm not going to encourage any Northeast Indian being extreme racists and harrassing others. Secondly, We as Northeast Indians shouldn't be giving in to it either because the stereotypes associated with it have literally nothing to do with us. Things like cow worship, a certain "indian" phenotype, the accent etc hardly apply to even the most indicized people like the Assamese.
