Illegal for stores to charge for branded plastic bags I recently shopped at Anna Aluminium in Menaka, Kochi, and was charged ₹5 for a plastic carry bag. I didn’t notice it (the bill) until I reached home, but the bag had the store’s branding on it. (Yes, not checking the bill then and there is completely my fault :() From what I understand, businesses aren’t allowed to charge for plastic covers that display their branding since they serve as advertisements. Swimming pool in Chennai Hi guys. I am planning to go for swimming every weekend. Last I went to anna university swimming pool like 6 or 7 months back. But since that anna university harrasment issue I am not sure whether it is open for public. Can someone confirm if it is still open for public???
