Does anyone’s father constantly compare brothers together? Should I feel jealous about it ? My father constantly compares me to my younger brother from his second marriage. He puts in pointers stating who is better at what things. And he does this comparison long with other family members. The Trash Fire Still Burns It’s been nearly a week since the trash hill caught fire, and the air quality keeps getting worse. Thick smoke hangs over the area, making it harder to breathe with each passing day. Elders and children are suffering the most, yet there’s still no decisive action from those responsible. SSD Write speeds at maximum of 30MB/s, while read speed 400MB/s On mac os, i have multiple external ssds all of them shit the bed, suddenly all of them i can only write at 30MBs while strangely i can read from the at spec speed, on 2.5inch external 30MBs write 400MBs read, and even on my banging M.2 in a external enclosure write is 30MBs while read is about 800MBs.... Old files from a backup are corrupting my new 2025 Macbook Pro. First Macbook was used brand new from 2009 to 2018. When it died I did a Time Machine backup onto an external drive. Flash forward to 2025 I buy a brand new MBPro, move every thing over, and its having issues with photos and imessage not completing icloud sync and I’m unable to send or receive photo messages from my imessage on Mac, they show up on phones as blank bubbles. External monitor not working!!! I have a MacBookPro M2 and when i connect it with my samsung monitor with a HDMI cable and a connector to plug in the cable to my mac it just doesn’t work. The monitor recognizes the HDMI but boom black screen then again it searches and finds HDMI and the process repeats infinitely. Reformat Fusion Drive Hi. The internal Fusion Drive of my 2019 was way too full and consequently very slow. I acquired a new external Samsung SSD and have made that the boot drive. I updated to Sequoia and it boots great. My intention was to then erase and reformat the Fusion Drive to use it as a workspace for photo work. I quickly tried to erase, and reformat. Is your iPhone mirroring and other continuity features not working? Check if you have a bluetooth dongle attached. I have been having this issue for months (since the betas started for MacOS 15 Sequoia) and have been searching and searching for a fix. Nothing. I have seen people online, in particular this subreddit, begging Apple for a fix. My Mac spent a whole week in the Apple Store this past week. No luck. It still persisted.
