As someone for UP I can vouch for it our original language was Braj bhasha as its Lord Krishna birthplace in Vrindavan, it’s a very sweet and soft spoken language along with Awadhi which people are forgetting, same goes for Bihar where Bhojpuri is still widely spoken although lots of locals there feel imposed to learn Hindi in school as its a key to get govt jobs etc.

Everyone is free to learn, speak and use any language they want and live in communities that’s what makes India diverse and amazing imposing a language or beliefs is bad and will naturally create divides and revolts
