some muurkhas will say chant "namah shivaaya", some will say "om namah shivaaya" some will even recommend you to chant the mahaamrtyunjaya mantra even. don't listen to these muurkhas. listen only to what shaastras have to say. according to shiva puraana 1.17.127-129, and skanda puraana, suuta samhita 1.4.14-16, shiva has recommended advijas to chant "shivaaya namah", so chant that mantra only.

I faced the opposite issue, wanted to watch some Hindi vlogger in the US and it started playing some god awful AI translated dubbed English audio. It stopped defaulting to that AI crap after a couple of days of me manually changing the audio track to Hindi.
