What are we going to do to protect our state becoming a victim of Communal environment?

Recently rising religious hate towards a community degrade our society. It divides us and creates an enemy within us. We starts to see each other as enemies and continue to attack each other. Manipur is another example of this hate which burnt the state. Their CM (recently resigned) allegedly involved in making the situation worse (even started all these). I'm from delhi so I saw how BJP tried to do the same Communal politics here but failed miserably last time and in anger they burnt the Delhi (delhi riots) using hindutva mobs. But this election, they learn that Communal Politics Backfires so they didn't do any communal politics this time. I also dislike the idea of communities to live separately in regions but if needed we can do that to maintain peace and order. Ideally we all are citizens of India. India is what unites us. Similarly Bengali term often used but it refers to the region and it includes everyone from this region irrespective of religion or groups or tribes. What's your opinion and thoughts on this rising communal environment? Which leaders you seek to combat such things?
