I wish to move to Vadodara forever...

I am a not-yet-married Male (Gujarati Jain, born & brought-up in Mumbai) looking to relocate to Vadodara with my family. While I have read many good things about Vadodara like it being Sanskari nagari, laid back city, kind & helpful people, less pollution, less traffic, etc., I am also concerned with the flooding/water-logging thing every monsoon & those crocodiles! Are there good areas to live with equally good people, where this monsoon flooding can be avoided? I am genuinely considering moving to Vadodara in a year or two. No party scene is okay with me as I am not into it. We are really a humble family & people with no evil intentions even for our enemies (if any). The main reason we intend to move to Vadodara is for a peaceful life. My personal opinion here after living more than 20 years here in Mumbai - it can be a city to earn but not to live. Not considering Ahmedabad because it has now become somewhat similar to Mumbai, same with Surat too, it seems very chaotic to me. Please share your ideas/suggestions, they will be all of great help to me. Anyone who has lived in different cities/parts of Gujarat can also share their experiences. \*People from Mumbai/Ahmedabad/Surat please do not get offended, I know these cities have much to offer but yeah, peace is our priority. I can be wrong in my opinions, be kind!
