Moved back to Vadodara, looking for communities to join

I moved back to Vadodara after 6-7 years of staying moving places for studies and work. My school friends are in different cities and I don't really have a social life here. But looking for something to do for the New Year or any weekend around it. Is there any event/ trek/ small trips/ community gathers (NOT a party/ concert) happening around? Especially places where one can go solo or find some company at the event.
