Bikers of Vadodara, if you could go on a long trip where would you go?

Me and my friend are planning to go towards Delhi from Vadodara. But I feel going downwards towards Goa would be better. However since the roads between Gujarat to Mumbai are pretty bad or at-least were bad when I last went we have a bit of an aversion to that route. Anyone who has gone for rides starting from Vadodara or passing through Vadodara any idea which routes are really amazing? I’m planning to be on the road for 7-9 days.
