Why are Foreigners milking Indians for views?

I know that Mata Ganga has now become a victim of industrial and domestic waste mismanagement. But people talking about it should have sympathy for the river, or at least be aware of the sources of pollution. Despite its infamous reputation for being dirty, the Ganga still provides livelihoods for millions of people. Like a sickened mother doing her best for her child. There are rivers in the world just as polluted as the Ganga, but no one talks about them.
