Suggestion needed

So I'm planning a budget friendly family trip to Rishikesh and Haridwar for (2 nights in Rishikesh and 2 nights in Haridwar) June 2025. Pls suggest some places to visit (including temples) and advices on how to get around the city. Some do's and don'ts will also be very helpful.
