Need advice please. Travelling tomorrow (Makar Sankranti) from Rishikesh to Delhi

Hello! I presume there would be massive crowds at Haridwar tomorrow for Makar Sankranti snaan. Would it be avisable to drive from Rishikesh to Delhi tomorrow? And if not through Haridwar, can any alternate route be taken? Thank you!
