My distant cousin commited crime and got out in 2 days

My distant cousin commited crime and got out of jail in 2 days So hello guys i wanted to share what happened in my family last week . I have a cousin ,my father's sister's son, lets call him X . And on Saturday he went to some vendor (mind that they live in village type area) And supposedly he borrowed some money from that vendor guy. Vendor kept asking him to return and some dude who was passing by heard this and told X that why arent u returning the money . That stupid X got pissed on why he is telling me this and took a knife from the vendors stall and stabbed him on stomach , neck mutiple times . The dude was lucky that he missed a vital nerve and luckily he survived, hes currently in hospital with many many stitches on his body. Cousin got taken to the police station he was in jail on Saturday and sunday . I came to know his father knew the police officer so he wasnt charged with attempt to murder ipc 307 . And some bribe was made of about 50k rupees and he got bailed out just like that .i feel this is so so wrong and this criminal should be punished. He shouldve gotten 10 years of imprisonment under section 307. Wht if he attacks his family one day? Bullshit corrupt people
