IFFK-related query. How safe is TVM late at night and are uber autos and cabs available around 12ish?

Title. Coming to TVM for IFFK with my partner. Some of our screenings at Nishagandhi will get over around 12, and the place where we are staying is around 3-4 km from the venue. So wondering about the ease of getting cabs and autos at that time. Thanks in advance! Also an additional question: will we face any problem if we book an Uber auto from the railway station to where we are staying? As in, I've heard of TVM non-Uber auto folks being a pain to Uber autos. Is this true? Please help.
