First time in your beautiful city, suggest me some must go places!

Hello all, first of all beautiful and very clean city. So we left delhi on 9th dec and till now we have travelled delhi>ranthambhor>surat>pune>goa>mangalore(stayed for 20 days)> Kochin and as soon as we entered Trivandrum, we thought we should stay here for atleast a week and explore the city. We are staying near Technopark area, we have reserved: * 12th Jan for visiting Kovalam beach, please suggest any good rest/bar on the beach. * 13th Varkala, please also suggest some good rest. if you know. * 14th Padmanabhaswamy Temple. * 15th Jatayu Earth's Center Nature Park Rest of the days are yet to plan. Being localite, can you suggest some nearby offbeat places to visit that many tourists are not aware of, some local food suggestion that we must try! Thanks!
