Should we prepare for low market returns?

I saw this article (link here: https://www.stockvalu8or.com/equity-valuation-ratios), on how equity returns trail valuation ratios. With S&P 500’s P/E around 30, is there room for the rally to continue? Or, are all the positive expectations priced in and should we prepare for low returns?
