Need trading advice
So I've been back testing ICT concepts essentially and while figuring out daily bias on XAUUSD noticed the 1D chart was bearish in a FVG so essentially I expected the daily to continue down, 4Hr was bullish but I took that as tracing into the 1D FVG, 1H was technically bearish as well. The day was incredibly bullish and to be honest would of had a good entry but because price was in a daily FVG I was only looking for longs. For people who trade this strat, when it comes to liq sweeps, BOS ect, will you stick to your higher timeframe bias or will you ever change it? Should I of definitely kept looking for shorts? Watched a vid TJR uploaded around a month ago to recap on liquidity ect and he mentioned how you want to use it as a way to find reversals? I learnt about finding bias from his bootcamp posted over a year ago which surely that contradicts? This is the hourly chart for that day as I wanted to make sure this would be considered bearish, it's in an uptrend but would the low closing below previous low confirm it's now in a downtrend? Need advice on this. https://preview.redd.it/upouyc6pzlde1.png?width=1612&format=png&auto=webp&s=5e3920f3cd60b109b0a014b01e98d67a07393795 This is also the 15m from that day, first blue line is Asia open, second is London open and third is NY. While watching this day I could of had a good entry if my bias was bullish, want to double check the way I check for my bias is correct. https://preview.redd.it/8lhdrstqzlde1.png?width=903&format=png&auto=webp&s=015f3542796e23d0067dc2b0f20dbcca3ba970a5 .Honestly really trying to put my head down with trading this year as I neglected it too much last year and just want to lock in now.5
