Do Traders Read Beyond Trading Books?
I have been trading for 2 years now, and I have found that reading makes me much more relaxed. I trade on a 75-minute time frame, and my trades usually last for 2-3 days at a time—well, the good ones at least. So now I read as much as possible on a variety of topics, from macroeconomics to fiction to non-fiction. I was just wondering if other traders read as well? And if yes, what do you usually read? Any favorites? My favorite trading-related book is Trading Psychology 2.0 by Brett N. Steenbarger. As of now, my favorite non-fiction, non-trading-related books are: 1. The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel 2. Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins And for fiction, it’s Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.4
