Visiting for month, need some recommendations

Hello all you happy Thane people! I will be coming to visit for a month in March, with my job, and I would love some recommendations for places to eat in the Northern part of Thane. Also I have another delicate question, regarding the weed situation in town. How is it seen, is it accepted? Can anyone help with a contact? I have a very hard time sleeping and a cigarette before bed does the trick, as I don\`t want to take sleeping pills. What would be the best way to move around town? buses, taxis? Should I rent a scooter or a bike? One last thing, where can I do for daily walks, hikes? are there hiking path along the Sanjay Gandhi National Park? Thank you in advance!
