Frustrated with Ambernath West Ration Card Office Delay

I applied for my ration card on 17/01/2025 and was promised that it would be ready by 27/01/2025. However, today I visited the Ambernath West Ration Card Office and was kept waiting from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After hours of waiting, I was told that the senior official was late, and another staff member told me to return tomorrow because the work wasn’t completed yet. This is causing me a lot of inconvenience and frustration, especially since I planned my day around this. Additionally, my SCR number has not been provided to me, which means I’m unable to track my application status online, adding to the frustration. Has anyone else experienced similar issues here? Does anyone know how to escalate this or get faster assistance? For reference, I visited the office located at the Old Nagar Palika Building, K.B. Road, Ambernath West, Maharashtra. I also tried reaching out via helpline.mhpds@gov.in, but I’m yet to receive a response. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciate
