What do you think about NEP2020 in Tamilnadu?

According to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) target for higher education is 50% by 2035. This means that India aims to have at least 50% of youth (aged 18-23 years) enrolled in higher education institutions by that year. Currently, Tamil Nadu is ahead of the national average, with a GER of 47%, making it one of the best-performing states in higher education enrolment. This minister of education Dharmendra Pradhan, recently stated that funds under the Samagra Shiksha scheme would be withheld until Tamil Nadu fully adopts the NEP. I mean WTF man?
