RANT: I feel lucky to born in South India and thankfully, we have a separate division for Southern Railways.
Had to visit some parts of north (Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand) for my best friend’s marriage and some friends’ trip and I felt lucky to be born in South India and have to sworn to the god that I would never board any train in North of the India or which is bound to north of India from any part of India. One can come up and say “it is happening everywhere”. You people are the sick idiots trying to normalize this. In south, out of 100 journeys, 1 or 2 might have this problem. But when you touch AC, it is 0 problems. In north even 2nd AC is a nightmare. One guy make fun of Kerala about Literacy in a stupid show. I want to rub the situation in his face. I am from Kerala and grew up in TN. and have never faced this situation even once. Southern Railways are super beautiful, super proper, super attentive and yet, old rakes and coaches for them. People have absolutely no civic sense. I usually think, why people are like this when it comes to Language wars and all. But I get it now. Sorry to say, but no one has any right to mock Karanataka or Tamilnadu or Kerala. Develop the civic sense first and try to push your agenda. South Infrastructure is awesome and every penny of the tax south is paying is absolutely for nothing. I think Railways should stop operating trains in specific states unless those people are educated atleast.5
