Got a Job(chennai )Through Recommendation, But I’m Unhappy—Want a Simple Life in My Hometown. What Should I Do?

I recently got a job, but it was through a recommendation from someone I know. The problem is, I don’t feel happy or comfortable in this job. More than that, I really don’t like living away from my hometown—it makes me feel mentally exhausted and emotionally drained. I would rather take a ₹10,000 job in my hometown and live a peaceful life than earn more but feel miserable elsewhere. I have some skills in web development and video editing, and I’m considering freelancing or starting a small business, but I’m not sure where to start. Has anyone else faced a similar situation? How can I build a stable career while staying in my native place?
