Family Staycation suggestion within Tamilnadu or Kerala

Guys, I'm going to india (chennai) for 3 weeks. My parents are retired and they just stay at home and don't travel much. During this visit, I wanna take them for a staycation kinda to make them experience different environment and chill without usual housechores and routines. Can be maximum for a week. Could anyone suggest a place in Tamilnadu or Kerala? It should be a good landscape and provided with home food if possible.
