Places near surat fort to hangout on valentine's?

Going to hangout with a friend on valentine's. Going to visit the fort but would still end up with come more extra hours so want to spend it somewhere we can sit and chat without being harrassed by bajrang dal or other such goons as we are just friends and I don't want him beaten for something he didn't even do. Any suggestions for cafes or other decent and affordable places in that area?
