Jobs offer truth

I was casually searching for a job and came across a job listing on the "Job Hai" portal for managing an e-commerce platform. Within 15 minutes, I got a call from some "Mind Mapper" (from udhana darwaza) / its placement consultancy. They asked about my experience and previous paycheck and then said that they would get me a job in the company, but since I would be going through them, I would have to attend the first interview at their office. I agreed, but now I’m wondering is this a scam, or is this actually how the process works? I doubt that I should spend on fuel to go there, only to be told that I first need to pay a fee for their training before getting a "guaranteed job," just like all those training centers…
