Surat as the only city?

Hey everyone, I soon want to travel from Dubai towards Singapore and make a stop in India. I've never been to India ever, would Surat be a good decision for staying just ten days ? Or should I rather go to Mumbai or Bangalore or Goa .. I honestly have no clue, curious what you locals think :) Have a great weekend
