Must-Eat Foods in Surat (Only Found Here) and Cost-Effective Routes from Railway Station"

Hello folks, I am traveling from Mumbai to Jaipur and have decided to spend half a day in Surat. My train is at night. So, please recommend must-eat items, but only those that cannot be found elsewhere, like ghari and ghotala. Also, please suggest a route from the railway station to the eateries. I want to avoid being overcharged by auto drivers.
