First Time in Gujarat/Surat – Best Gujarati Restaurant for a North Indian?

Hey everyone! I’m visiting Gujarat for the first time and will be in Surat. As a North Indian, I’d love to try an authentic Gujarati meal. Can anyone recommend a great restaurant or any must-try local experience? Not looking for a thali though. Would love to hear your suggestions! Thanks in advance.
