A thought from a post covid market entrant

Started investing in 2021 mid half. I remember Wipro at 500 after huge jump and i bought anxiously and it reached 700 even when everyone said market is too heated. Nifty reached 18k from 16k in matter of months when everyone kept yelling overpriced. then more than a year of red ranging from -5% to -20% in 2022, went positive in mid of 2023. Then reached 40% positive and now back to 18% positive. And if you look at fii data you’ll see huge continuous selling check oct 2021- june 2022 (monthly 25-50k outflow) On each step kept adding more, had patience, booked profit trying for 5-6% profit booking per year and since i had invested in dividend stock got 1.5 to 2% of dividend. Overall in my head thought of it as fd return of 6-7% and kept hodling. Point being this will happen i suppose unless major changes happen in the world. As such with all hue and cry of tax, corruption and what not India will grow because we cant get worse, only way is up from what we have been for decades and centuries. Bottom line is people will invest in India growth story especially Indians and sip will eventually catch up with fiis. India will grow as it has for decades not inspite of one Pm or political party or the other but despite of them. On a side note Recently saw a video where the guy said, see Indian population economically as four countries bottom of pyramid Africa, above that Brazil, above that UK, above that Bahrain. Bottom three are looking to go above and thats what will pull us ahead. Ps Fii sold 7k crore today as well. Fii no buy, only bye bye
