Withdrawal from 1CR portfolio to 10k in 3 months.

From the peak of almost 1CR portfolio to now going down to 10k or even zero soon , I need to know 1. If some of the stocks are not in long term gains will I have to file separately for them. 2 . Can I set off gains (both LTCG /STCG) by those that are in losses. 3. I wish to give the funds to my kids for their investments, will it attract any tax implications for either of us? 4. Do I need to close my demat account if I have no near future plans to reinvest in stock market.
