Why people worried about Tesla

Here's why i think Tesla wont be big in india - 1. Tesla's cars will be more than 25 lakh 2. Only going to import 8K cars in a year (if they sell only 8k they'll charge even higher) 3. Not enough charging stations 4. EV resale value is bad (not specific to tesla) 5. Tesla only allows you tesla parts and service The bad thing is if the government ease rules lots of other ev companies will enter India (bad for indian companies but good from buyer perspective) the real challenge will be BYD not Tesla, edit: 1. in comment some people not considering the point government still planning to limit imports (8k/year) 2. in US they selling as a premium car in india they are not going to change the brand image just because they are in india, infact they may charge higher considering the number of imports allowed, (apple does something similar, they charge more in india than other asian countries because people thinks its status symbol)
