Which stocks to pick for retirement?

I have around 5L which I want to invest in stocks for the long term. I do not plan to sell them anytime soon and will probably hold them them till my retirement, which will be after 20 years. I do not plan to invest in any mutual funds as of now as I have already invested a major amount there as part of my retirement fund. The stocks I am considering are - Reliance induestries, TCS, ITC, HDFC and ICICI. Would it be wise decision to invest in these stocks or should I be looking at other options as well?
