When to buy stocks? Is it correct time to buy?

I am thinking of investing my 50k money that I have no use of as of now. But, worried about the few days of falling prices. How long should I wait before investing this amount? Also, I am planning to invest more. But, how to approach it? Invest it in one go, or invest in bits and pieces spread over 2 months?
