VVM IPO?
As you know, VMM is launching its IPO, and opinions are quite mixed. Some believe it's a knockoff of DMart for Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, while others see it as a potential multibagger. The IPO allotment price is set between ₹74 and ₹78, with a minimum lot size of 190 shares, valuing the company at ₹8,000 crore. I was considering investing, as it seems like a solid company with consistent profits and decent financials. However, I have a few questions: 1) What is the company’s strategy to tackle the rise of quick commerce (Q-commerce)? 2) Do Tier 2 and Tier 3 city residents really use quick commerce apps? 3) While the company’s numbers look good now, will it be able to sustain its performance under the scrutiny and pressure of retail investors? These are some of the concerns holding me back. What do you think about this IPO? Is it really worth investing in for the next 3-4 years? I’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions.1
