Out of Plans!!

Looking at market conditions, I am left with no plans, I was expecting a decent fall since August and held cash for the same ,fall happened, I disposed considerable amount, I was expecting a fall upto 21900-22000, that haven't happened yet, my portfolio is down, even though I think I have bought shares at decent valuations still my portfolio is down by a good margin, I am left with some cash and market is going absolutely nowhere (expected). I am thinking to exit some average quality shares which I thought could do good in very long term but at the same time I feel like my cash is blocked in the shares which are going absolutely nowhere. I want to grab opportunity at the same time I want to protect my capital. How are you guys dealing with current market situation. I have been observing market since 2018 and haven't been so confused...
