Need to switch away from ET money, have about 5L to invest in stocks.

Hey all, I have been investing in stock market using ET Money genius for the past 1.5 years. It was good deal as the suggested stocks usually gave a decent return (bull market). Now the montlhy re-balance has become a headache, they sell stocks every month and since the market is free falling, they are making me buy stocks and sell it at a loss. I have lost over 70k by now (these were gains from last year) over a period of 3 re-balances. I have about 5L invested in MF using ET Money and 5L in stocks, I would really like some recommendation on what to do now. I don't have the knowledge to do stock analysis before investing, would like something simple, maybe something I can add occasional money into. Long term investing. Kindly help me with this.
