My view on the current Mid-cap and Small-cap space

It’s no secret that mid and small caps have been under pressure. The past few years' excesses driven by hype over pre-IPO deals and aggressive projections are still working their way out of the system. There’s still froth in the market, but opportunities are emerging. In a world where 70% of companies aren’t beating the index, it’s clear that not all mid and small caps are created equal. The tide that lifted all boats during the bull run has receded, and now it’s about finding the right boat. For me, this means focusing on promoters with strong track records, businesses gaining market share, and industries with sustainable growth drivers. A few pockets that stand out as interesting right now like Speciality chemicals, Building materials and Power Finance. What sectors or themes are catching your eye in this market?
