Is it fine to buy unlisted stocks ?

I mean I seen in one of youtube video comments that in unlisted stocks are with high price compared to listed stock price of same stock and also it is difficult to sell unlisted stocks like that . Can someone who hold stocks which or anyone who have idea on this scenario can you tell , is it fine to buy unlisted stocks . I thought as it is unlisted it will come at cheaper price and when it went to ipo it will become more price .
