“India’s Growth Dilemma: Can We Escape the ‘Developing Nation’ Label?”

The government is predicting just 6.4% GDP growth, and even that won’t happen without a fiscal stimulus. We need 7-8% growth to break free from this cycle of low income growth, or we’ll forever remain a “developing” country. The same old story—throwing taxpayer money at inefficient companies through PLI with no real progress. The government really needs to do better. What do you think?
