How to Allocate Funds Across Stocks and Sectors for Portfolio Diversification?

I’m trying to figure out the best way to allocate my funds across different stocks and sectors based on varying investment amounts. Specifically, I want to know: How many stock should I consider if I have ₹50,000, ₹1,00,000, ₹1,50,000, or ₹2,00,000? And how much stocks to buy when I have 10 Lakhs and 20 Lakhs. Like should I invest in 10 stocks if I have ₹1,00,000. Ex- RIL, NTPC green, Zomato, Adani ent. Etc. How should I diversify my portfolio across sectors? For example, is allocating 25% to IT and 10% to Pharma a good approach, or should I consider other sector-wise distributions? I have around 20 Lakhs in FD but I am not yet comfortable in the stock market. I am trying to learn to invest properly and trying not to be greedy. Don't want to lose all of my capital because of bad decisions.
