US Startup Common Stock Taxation in India

Hey folks, I have an opportunity to join a pre seed startup thats established in the US. I'll be working from India. The equity being promised is in terms of common stocks (similar to what founders have). No ESOPs. Does anyone in this community know what the tax implications of this would be for me? PS: i will consult a CA for sure just wanted to get info from startup folks.
