How do B2B startups do lead generation? (I will not promote)

For the B2B companies in this subreddit, how do you perform lead generation? I find myself struggling with searching for the right companies through search engines, and I don’t think my workflow for lead gen is streamlined. I would love to know what your workflows are like and what your success rates are if you’re comfortable sharing.
