A Bengaluru youth recently demonstrated the power of AI when he used ChatGPT to negotiate an auto fare from Rs 200 to Rs 120, overcoming a language barrier. 

The student, who was a non-native Kannada speaker, turned to ChatGPT for help, prompting it to communicate with the auto driver in Kannada. Using the AI’s voice assistant, the conversation unfolded smoothly, with the driver initially agreeing to Rs 150 and finally settling on Rs 120. 

This innovative use of ChatGPT to navigate a real-world situation has gone viral, highlighting how AI can be used to simplify tasks and break down communication barriers in everyday life.
