Why aren’t you doing customer research? (I will not promote)
Founders not talking to customers is a popular meme. And it seems pretty common from founders I talk to and startup communities I’m in for founders not to do much customer research, especially for marketing. Which is a shame because I’ve gotten some of my best marketing insights from interviewing customers. I consider it really important, enough that interviewing customers is one of the first things I’ve done at every marketing job I’ve had. What are the reasons you’re not doing it?
